Tess: I'm concerned about the comment re: tag vigilance.

David: we had another issue in the design guidelines repo - we have 6 mechanisms that look similar, whats the rule for deciding which one to use

Dan: this goes way back and can't remember why it's lost in time.

David: last we looked someone had to write what the rules are but then it didn't happen. We should have this in one of our docs but not sure where. This comes up frequently thus we should write it.

Dan: design principles?

David: file an issue but we already have one :) keeping this open it doesn't seem to provoke further progress.

Dan: if this is guidance to devs it doesn't feel like a design review

Dan: agree to close this issue and move the discussion to the design principles issue. I'll schedule the design principles issue for 3/30/2020 which is our next design principles discussion
